Trying to Get My Back Sorted out

Featured

I have been trying different ways to fix my back, but of course I am scared of some of the more popular ways that you remedy a bad back. I would go to a chiropractor, but of course that is a really scary thing after you learn how it is that they achieve results. There is a great potential for disaster. If you go to a doctor all they really offer is a bottle of pills which have tremendous ill effects. I have decided to try a physical therapy type of massage in South Surrey. That seems like the only real safe option that I can try, although I suppose that they could also go over the top in some types of massage. Continue reading

I Wanted a Nice Place That Would Help Me Cut Down on Commuting

I knew that I needed to move nearer to my workplace because traveling from the outskirts of the city to my office every day was really taking up a lot of my time. I began looking at places to live online, and after seeing the 12 on Shan floor plan online, I really wanted to check the place out in person. It looked like it may be perfect for me. But because it was the first place that I would be touring, I told myself to not get too excited because there are other places to look at in the area as well. But it turned out that the first place of interest is the best choice. Continue reading

Finding a Place That Sells What I Need Locally is Helpful

Sometimes I find myself wishing that I lived in the US for the reason that it would be much easier to buy items that I need from there, while living there. But things are changing and more businesses that have what I need are cropping up here in my country. For instance, I just found a place that sells Canada power tool parts for some of the special power tools that I use for my job and they are located here in my own country. That has really helped save me some money. I still like going across the border to visit, though. Things are very different there, and it is nice to learn new things about the area and the people who live there.

I live pretty close to the border, but I didn’t really have a chance to cross it until I was around 35 years old. My dad was born in Canada, but my mom is American. Her parents passed away when she was pretty young, and she has no siblings, so there was really no reason for her to go back home. She met dad, married him and we stayed put. Mom was happy and that’s all that matters. But when I was 35, I got invited on a trip to New York with some buddies. I love that state, and my visit to NYC itself was pretty amazing.

I cross over the border when I can now for fun and sometimes for business. I have no idea why I never really bothered to do that before. I’ve even been able to network for my business with some small business owners that I have met in America. Still, it’s nice to be able to get what I need for my business when it comes to parts from a place that sells locally and I get my items more quickly because of the shorter distance that they need to travel for shipping purposes.
